Spring Swing Concert

Congratulations to our GSA Testing Gift Card Winners! Any student that came to school on time and took their time on our GSA Writing assessment, got a ticket to put in a drawing for a Gift Card. There was a winner for each grade level. Thank you Stallions for trying your best!

Congratulations to our Aerial Drone teams for another sweeping victory this weekend at the “Preview TO Dragonfly" tournament at Brooke High School in Wellsburg. Our alumni team, The Wrong Brothers, the #1 seed, won the entire Tournament, the Teamwork Mission Award, and the Coding Award. Flight Club (who stayed in the Top 3 all day) and When Pigs Fly were the #3 seeded alliance going into eliminations and made it to the semifinals. Hermes and Just Keep Flying (with Ridgedale recruits) were the #4 seeded alliance in the semifinals. Sixth-grader Aubrey Ganoe, a one-woman team for Hermes, won the Judges’ Award for outstanding performance as a beginner on her own. She stayed in the top half of the rankings of all teams- both high school and middle school- in match performance, autonomous coding skills, and pilot skills. When Pigs Fly, after being so close all season long, finally won the coveted All-Around Champion Award, the highest award bestowed by the REC Foundation.

Congratulations! Our talented students have won First Place in the Chinese Sing Contest at the World Language Showcase! This outstanding achievement is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and passion for language and culture. Please join us in congratulating our students and the teachers who supported and prepared them for this success. We are so proud of their accomplishment and grateful for the commitment to excellence that makes moments like this possible.

Some math classes celebrated Pi Day on Friday. There were a variety of activities completed using Pi and contests to see who could recite Pi the furthest.

We are pleased to announce that three of our band students have been selected as members of the 2025 WV Middle School All-State Band! This is the highest honor that can be achieved by a middle school band student!

Students were working hard in Related Arts today. Ask your 6th grader what game they were playing in PE or what is being created in Art class.
