Fall Break Information

Some of our students had an awesome opportunity to attend the MSIS, Mountain State Innovators Summit at Stonewall Resort.

Thank you WV K12 Speakers Bureau and alternate Mountaineer mascot, Rachel Morgan for coming to South today. We learned a lot about the responsibilities of the Mountaineer mascot. It was a pleasure meeting Ms. Morgan, a senior marketing major from Bridgeport, who is serving as the alternate Mountaineer mascot. Let's go Mountaineers!

7th Grade student of the month winners!
Students have been completing Military Lessons in Career Class this week. Thank you to all our Veterans!

As Mr. Sears' classes begin to study West Virginia's many Cryptids, students created their own and competed against one another to determine each classes "King Cryptic." Winners then had their creature made into a 3D model which was printed and given to them.










October 22 we will be having our 1st Penny Delay and Zero Day.
Students will be attending ALL classes Periods 1 - 8.
Thursday, Oct. 23 will be an Odd Day. Bring in your spare change for our Penny Delay!

Thank you to all the families that came to our Family Reading/Social Studies Night! We had a fun night eating, playing games and reading. Thank you to the Morgantown Public Library for participating in our event. We look forward to our next Family Night featuring Math and Science on November 19th.
