Congratulations to our Aerial Drone teams for another sweeping victory this weekend at the “Preview TO Dragonfly" tournament at Brooke High School in Wellsburg. Our alumni team, The Wrong Brothers, the #1 seed, won the entire Tournament, the Teamwork Mission Award, and the Coding Award. Flight Club (who stayed in the Top 3 all day) and When Pigs Fly were the #3 seeded alliance going into eliminations and made it to the semifinals. Hermes and Just Keep Flying (with Ridgedale recruits) were the #4 seeded alliance in the semifinals.
Sixth-grader Aubrey Ganoe, a one-woman team for Hermes, won the Judges’ Award for outstanding performance as a beginner on her own. She stayed in the top half of the rankings of all teams- both high school and middle school- in match performance, autonomous coding skills, and pilot skills.
